So....I recently "aquired" a new bike. By "aquired"...I mean "bought". And by "new bike" I mean "the most bomb-proof, kick-ass piece of bike known to man". Double wide rims, marzocchi bombers in the front....8" of travel front and rear. MRP Bones crank set.....Hayes 9's disc brake set. Rear tire is running 2.6" wide. So...basically what I am saying is that I could ride it off of my roof while eating a sandwich and drinking a glass of milk.....and not even spill the milk.

Its a Christmas Miracle
There is no excuse as to why I have not posted anything for months (or maybe years). I cant really say that I have been TOO busy to do it, because lets face...there is always time, right? I just got back from the annual Pearson family Christmas party....good as always. What is more important than family at Christmas time? I am going to get a little out of character here and be serious. Family are friends are what makes Christmas such a rad holliday! Where would we be without the people we love? So I say Merry Christmas to everyone...
Me at the Gorgoza Terrain park in Park City. It was magical
California trip in the summer of '06 (or was it '05...I dont know) left to right...Jeff, Helen (from England) Me, Hannah (from England), and John (not from England). Some how we picked them (the english girls) up along the way while in CA. We took them down to Tijuana whith us..where Jeff and I proceeded to get frisked by the Mexican police..and thats no lie
Thats Kaya.She is my dog.
The Olsons annual Christmas party. I am not going to lie...the food that was there on the table was legendary. Thanks Barb and Doug. My friends Porter and Jaada with their new baby Saavy, Me, Cory and his wife Donielle, and of course Dan Kettle. It was a Christmas Miracle.
This was tonight actually (12/23/2006). Pearson family Christmas party. I wasnt try to pose or anything...but it just kind of worked out that way. How YOU doing?
Me and Kaya.

Bike ride to Dogwood lake
Ummm...yeah. It has been a while since I have updated this little humdinger, so.....that is what I will do. Please read on.
Today (sat. 8th of july a.d) we (Craig Jenson, and the president of Cereal and Toast emporioum....which happens to be me) ventured up Millcreek canyon to ride the trail up to Dog lake.
Going up the trail was fine, seeing how there were no hikers or other people of that sort. But....on the way down, there was so much bloody traffic (by traffic, I mean hikers and bikers) it was ridiculous and I wanted to punch something.
Regardless of that, it was a fantastic ride. Here are a few pictures for your viewing pleasure.
Funny story about this one....well.....ok, no real funny story, this is just a picture of Craig Jenson throwing up. I would like to say that he got in a fight with a yetti and was "side-kicked" in the stomache, but that would be a lie.
Craig and myself along with some very adventurous campers in the background.

Mystery Canyon
Just thought I would post some pictures from a recent trip down to zions. These pictures are in Mystery canyon. At the end of the canyon, you have to repell down into the narrows. The wall you go down is super slippery because there is a waterfall that you have to go down. And at the bottom, you are on a river. On a side note, I may have fallen into the river right in front of a group of girls. Needless to say I felt like an idiot. I mean, I am an idiot, but they didnt know that.....that is until I fell into the river right in front of them.
Heres the pictures. No explanation needed.

Hawaii 5-0
I feel I need to be straight with all of the readers of Cereal and Toast. Recently.....I have been watching "Hawaii 5-0" on channel 24, and fear that I may be a fan of the show. Every night I find myself turning on the tv in hopes of seeing my favorite dectective, Steve McGarrett, solving crimes involving murder, espionage, assasanation attempts, or felonies of any type.
Three cheers for Steve McGarrett and his savy crime fighting abilities.

anonYmous
I am not sure who this anonYmous character is that keeps leaving witty banter on my blog, and trying to match wits with the likes of Ron Mexico, but...I would like to set the record straight. "Anonymous" or "anonYmous" as he or she seems to put, is not, I repeat NOT affiliated with this blog nor the staff of the Cereal and Toast Emporioum. I have included an artist rendition of what "anonymous" could look like.

June 20th
Just a few photos to comment on today.
I apologize. I left my camera at home, so these pictures are compliments of my phone.
Top left photo is just outside of the Salt Lake Temple. This young chap just got married, and is sporting a nice pair of basketball shoes that go very well with his tux. Not quite sure how I feel about this. Porter said they might be "AndOne" brand
Top right looks like Porter. I think I went to use the bathroom in the ZCMI center (thats a whole different blog topic, something along the lines of " The deplorable state of the bathrooms at the ZCMI center, and there nearness to the back door of McDonalds = me almost throwing up") So, I guess Porterwas rooting around with my phone, and took a picture of himself.
Bottom left is Mike and Mindi right after getting married. I told them that I was going to blog this, and then took the picture. The girl at the bottom left of the picture doesnt look to happy. Maybe she heard me say that I was going to blog the picture....I don't know.
Bottom right might be the most... well, I will just let the picture speak for itself. Subaru Brat.

Ribs and rice
Ummm.... This picture really has nothing to do with this post "Ribs and rice". It's just that I forgot to document the event that inspired the said title.
This picture happens to be from a trip down to southern Utah about two weeks ago. I had nothing better to do, so I went down there by myself to ride my mountain bike. Anyways, I took this picture from my car somewhere along I-15.
Onto the "Galla-event" that is responsible for the "ribs and rice" title.
Michael and Mindi's wedding dinner fandango was tonight. Fantastic is what it was. Held at the Cottonwood Country Club, which I might ad, I am thinking about joining as soon as I come up with an extra $35,000. I guess I could sell a kidney or leg to cover the cost.
A few highlights from the night - remembering that we had dumped a horse trailer full of stuff (garbage, vegetables -according to Mindi, old bbq's, and everything else Cottles dad had planned on taking to the dump) on Mindi's lawn. This was back in highschool, so dont worry (for all of you reading this that are getting concerened)
There were more highlights, but its possible that I may be too tired to write them at this point in the night. And, the inspiration for the fantastical title........That is what was served. Ribs and rice. There was more to the dinner than that, but I thought it would be a clever title and grab the readers attention as if to say, "you had better read me"

Micheal getting married/domination at the bowling alley, and a game of cards
Mike is getting married, what else do I need to say. This single event could possiblly cause a rip in time, that is how phenominal it is. Congrats to Mike and Mindi!
With that aside, I would like to recap last nights happenings in as few words as possible.
"Costa Vida steak enchiladas were a flavor explosion in my mouth - Bowling at the all-star lanes -Porter picked up a 7-10 split, then tore the computer off of the table in celebration - Cottle bowled 300 twice in one game - I bowled my usual game of 55 - Porter lent me 5$ - Gipsy Ice - sugar coma - card game at Craigs house - Porter thought I said "poocture" instead of picture - Last but not least, Egyptian Rat F"
Craig, Justin (bending over for some unknown reason), and the back of Mike's head
Craigs leg, Justin, Porter(on his high horse), Cottle, and the back of Mike's head

Bingbangbong, your fired
Referee Jorge Larrionda, who referee'd the US vs Italy world cup game, should be fired...or better yet...lit on fire and thrown out of a window onto a crowded street (like in the western movies)
For anyone that saw the game, you know exactlly what I am talking about. He was getting all silly with those red cards. He ruined the game, and dare I say, prevented the US from winning. His new name should be "Captain Bring-down and the inept linesman". I will go out on that note.

Another fantastical post.
First off, an update on "operation gas in my car"
-I ended up breaking into my "vacation" fund (not much of a fund, there was like 12.00$ and some change in there) to get money to buy food for my car.
-I had super glued the lid to prevent myself from dipping into it, but that proved ineffective. Next time I think I should come up with a better way of "securing" the fund.
Last night we had a session of xbox 360 at my good friend Nate's house. I did have apicture of him, but he said if I posted it, he would end the friendship (or something along those lines). So here is a picture of his dog instead.
Thats Tao. He would prolly bite your arm off in 1 to 2 seconds if you let him.
Actually Tao is the nicest dog this side of the mississippi.
I probablly shouldnt post this picture of me, but i keeps it real, so....
Thats me all geared up for a round of G.R.A.W (Ghost Recon for all of you losers who dont know that)
Let me tell you about GRAW. Basically we dominate the scene always. Well....except for last night, and a few nights before that. You know, come to think of it, we really dont dominate that often. I'm retarded.
Lastly, Here are the rest of the people that work at UpperCase Living. I need to be fair and not leave anyone out, so here is Kelly working hard.....or is she.

Sticker World
I really dont have anything to talk about except the fact that my car is out of gas, payday is not for another 5 days, my laptop is dying on me, and to top it off......the test that I didnt study for.....I failed.
I thought I wuld post a picture of my work establishement, "StickerWorld". Ok, its not actually called sticker world, but we do make stickers. Its called "UpperCase Living". For all of your wall decorations, witty sayings and other pleasantries, visit www.uppercaseliving.com. That is some nice marketing for the company. Too bad I am not getting paid for it.
(above: Sticker World. Employees Jeff, Katie and April hard at work, or are they?)
I will keep everyone posted on "operation:put gas in my car"

Water Pythons and mountain lions
Canyoneering Adventure in Zions for the two people that will actually read this.
Part one - Pine Creek Canyon
This past Friday (June 10th) we began a trip that some later would call "fantastical".
This is Brandt and I (Brandt is my dad) arriving at Zions on tuesday night.
Brandt at the local hangout in zions.
This was our campsite. It came complete with 3/4 of the worlds ant population, a deer, and a picnic table. Hooray!
Me and Brandt kicking it old school in the campsite.
I took this in the tunnel at zions (which was started in 1927 and finished in 1930....fyi)
Craig, Amber, and Doug
The group getting ready for the first plunge into the waters of Pine Creek Canyon *scary echo*.
left to right- Doug, Les, Amber, Craig, and Tim
There is water down there. I may have jumped into it, probably not the brightest idea I have had. It was cold, and I am retarded.
Craig and Tim trying to coil the frozen rope
I am not going to lie or embelish this one. The water was so cold...it would have killed an ordinary man
Finding refuge in the sun
Still thawing out from the water that was so cold it would have killed an ordinary man
This was the last rappel. 100+ feet, free hanging, into water.
I think I just messed myself thinking about it again.
Craig fixing the rope
Amber on the last rappel.
Brandt singing his way down
Tim getting crazy with the rope as he is belaying Les
Craig and his flowing hair while being watched by Amber
Every one at the bottom, getting geared up for the long hike out courtesy of Tim.
